Baby Update

The humans have a great pic of the black baby! The newborns have had a lot of snuggle time with Reese's the past few hours. They are doing well,and have been exploring part of the cage and play fighting. Reese's been tired after a pattern of eating and nursing.Snowball has never been angrier and has been rumble strutting and grumbling at the lack of space in the cage. 

Baby's are leaving

"I'll have a blue Christmas without you!" cried the babies as they were separated from Reese's forever starting yesterday. The humans could not keep the babies,and they found a home for both of them!One black and one white,they are both females. They have been separated for a shorter period of time when  the humans plopped them in a clean and safe bathtub with food and water for a couple of hours. However,it would be a shock to anyone to suddenly get picked up from your cage,never to see it again,and put in a new one. This is probably why they started SCREAMING for mom at the top of her lungs. "I know they have to be taken away,but I still feel bad for them," reported human #2. After a while,the babies calmed down and resorted to hiding and not moving for about 5 hours. The humans went for a quick night trip,and when they got back,the pigs had swapped places but didn't eat. This Christmas Eve morning,the babies were munching on some hay,parsley,and carrots. Their pick up time is scheduled for later today,when they will get freaked out all over again. Babies

Happy Thanksgiving, piggies! Today Reese's gave the humans quite a surprise this evening when she gave birth to two wonderful pigs! Snowball may be a male now,and one of the cavies is completely white just like him/her. The other is a fuzzy black sweetie with a white stripe going horizontally along her middle. The humans will try to get these pigs a good home after they can live without Reese's. Wish these unexpected babies a happy birthday in the comments.

Grass

Hello Cavies and Cavy lovers! Do you know what the Pigloo residents LOVE?A nice,delicious bowl of grass! Our piggies already ate all their hay,so us human slaves went to get some more. We go to Kahoots,a really great pet shop. There was a lot of great stuff there,so we couldn't resist getting:fun bedding,toys,and...
grass seeds!We brought some soil and seeds home,and in 5 days there was A LOT of grass. When we cut some off,they finished half of it off in 15 seconds. The piggies even took some from our hand! Now that's dedication!

 

Snowball!

Hello! I'm Snowball,a very fluffy cavy. Humans 3 and 4 wanted to clean out the cage. About time.It was getting pretty stinky in there .Human 2 had to put an air freshener in his room. Human 4 picked us up,and put us in a Guinea Pig safe bathroom(no mold or yuckies)  with humans 1 and 2. They gave us some pigloos and let us run around. The people always refer to this as "Floor Time". Reese's and I had fun playing together!

A little while later,human 4 picked us up again and put us in our clean cage. The scent of vanilla wafted up from the bedding(the bedding was vanilla scented)and no poop was in sight!!!We ran and played. See you next wheek!

Reese's Introduction

Hello People! I'm Reese's, one of the human's pets. My owners  read that we really like bell peppers.We got some this morning. It smelled strong but good,and I worked up my courage to take the pepper from the human's hand.I took a bite and it was NOT good. I told my sister Snowball not to try them,but she did anyways. Snowball doesn't seem to like them much either. Hopefully apples and carrots will be fed later!

Hello!

Hello, Guinea Pigs and people alike! This is my first of my Miss Pigloo blog series! I have two of the cutest Guinea Pigs alive. These are Snowball,a  female white fluffball,and Reese's,another female black,brown and white cavy that makes everyone squeal with delight! (A cavy is another word for Guinea Pig)

Unfortunately, we have just got the piggies and they are still very shy,so it's hard to get a good picture of them. However,if you look in the corner, you can see a flash of Reese's. As they get more friendly around us,better pictures and videos will come out. When they do,your heart will melt into a thick gooey mush.I'll come back soon with more updates! (And Reese's might make an introduction too!)
